awwwwwww!

so cute! i like animals, as kenny would say.

herschell gordon lewis interview.

most awkward celebrity interviews.

mega super mammoth mp3 blog list! download away, people!

i hate myself.

who needs the kwik-e-mart? i dooooooooooooooo...

i found a great online bead store through the wonders of myspace...if you are a beader, check them out. the prices are reasonable, shipping is cheap, and the peeps that run it are really nice. :)

baked ziti. my friend isaiah sent me an mp3 from this site of the jingle for this weird NJ store from the 80's called "ideal" that i am obsessed with. turns out this guy has a decent blog. definitely watch those "i heart huckabees" outtakes if you haven't heard about them already. i had no idea that lily tomlin was such a pottymouth! this is not what i expect from the incredible shrinking woman!

and finally...anyone else remember the Dregs of Humanity? i bet mark and margy will, if anyone.

i have "never gonna give you up" by rick astley in my head and it's driving me crazy!

please enjoy this photo of stephen malkmus from 2001, just because.

random kitten generator. really, really cute.

i wrote to michael jackson in 5th grade during the "thriller" heyday. bastard never wrote me back. and, as i mentioned yesterday, i wrote to bob catalano from "dancin' on air." but i think that's it. but i DO know someone who wrote to courtney love in 1991 or '92 and got a hand-written response back...if you're reading this, testify, sistah!

since "the office" isn't on this week, play some games! "bobblehead bash" is new, i think. i played a fill-in-the-quote-type game yesterday, and it was really hard!

i love youtube, part 2.

i love youtube.

only philly people who were teenagers in the 80's will truly appreciate this. be sure to check out the guy in the white belly shirt and sunglasses, bopping up and down in between 2 girls right before they show the picture of michael jackson. that guy's name is bob catalano, and i was totally in love with him. in middle school i wrote him a fan letter and he TOTALLY WROTE ME BACK. he was 18 and from jersey and had a crazy gravely voice and was totally obsessed with wham! ugggghhhh...

with the legos

how to get served quickly at the bar. that is, if you don't have breasts.

those glorious shins

they were wonderful. really really great. they sounded good and played many of my favorites. although i don't think i will be sitting in the balcony again anytime soon...for once, i just wanted to sit down and drink beer and be mellow and not have to stand in a squished crowd all night...but it kinda sucks up there. people were just hanging out and talking, as if they were at a regular bar. so weird! i mean, the freaking shins are playing right in front of you...why did you dole out all the $$$ for a ticket if you don't really care? odd. but, on the plus side, there was a waitress bringing me my heinekens and the bathroom was mere steps away. so who knows. oh, and on a crazy sidenote, i realized that my 17-year-old niece was at the show, too!! she's so cool.

so, the shins tonight! yay! hopefully they don't suck. i've been hearing lots about their live sucking. and i saw them live once, and they sucked. hmmm...why did we get tickets? not sure.

The "Horsemen" go on right around the witching hour...

p.s. the electric horsemen are almost as good as these wheat donuts:

icky thump

in other icky, thumpy news...it turns out that my poor kitty has bladder stones and had to stay over at the vet last night. boooo! poor foofy-foofy. the reason she had to stay overnight? because she apparently went insane when they tried to give her an x-ray, so they had to sedate her. eeek. but, we caught it very early, so she doesn't need surgery or anything like that...just a change in diet and a checkup in 6 weeks to make sure the stones dissolve. it was so weird not having her around last night. :( and poor chris' birthday celebration had to be put on hold for a few hours. nothing like eating lasagna at 9 p.m.! but it was still nice. just weird without the foofy.

AND, ironically enough, my poor kenny is having some similar problems right now, and is having a procedure done as we speak. i'm sure he's thrilled that i'm blogging about his kidney stone, but hey. get better soon, rundel!!!! xoxoxoxoxo
