my sick clown name is Funzo Booger Dangles.

or, if you are a guy that hates clowns, this may be more to your liking.

best tear-jerkers ever, part 1. i personally have cried at # 49, #44, i love #42 but i never cried, #39, #36 (and yes, i am ashamed of myself), #34, #29, #28, and #27. i'm sure when the top 25 comes out i will have cried at most, if not all, of them.

there are a few movies that make me cry every single time i see them, no matter how many times. "it's a wonderful life" (if this movie does not make you cry, then you have no soul), "harold and maude," "breakfast at tiffany's," "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind," and "the royal tenenbaums." i'm crying at "tenenbaums" within the first 5 minutes, every time. when young richie lets mordecai go and "hey jude" is playing...oh man. i could cry right now.

i love this photo.

the tarantino archives got hacked or the site crashed or something. i feel bad. it was a really great site, The Man Himself even granted an interview to the guy who runs it, and admitted that he checked the site often to check out "the temperature" of what his fans where thinking about things. definitely a great QT site.

cnn gives me nightmares.

did anyone else see john mark karr on larry king last night? wow...what. a. PSYCHO. i fell asleep towards the end, and then i woke up to something about the whole world blowing up because of north korea's nukes. or at least that's what i heard, in my nyquil-induced semi-coma. anyway, kim jong il said it was because he was "so rone-rey." so, i went to bed, and then dreamed of nuclear war. ugh. i've said it before, and i'll say it again: the whole world is going crazy.

in other world affairs, the guy from muse thinks 9/11 was an inside job. now whatever would make him say a thing like that?

on a lighter note:

ewwww.

pink is the new town.

here's blondie at cbgb's the other night. (r.i.p. cb's!) i can't wait until the patti smith video starts to surface...i wish i could've been there for that, the last show there ever. she was a perfect cherry on top of that whole era.

and finally, i think i am going to dye my hair really really red tonight. not manic panic red (see below), but quite red nonetheless.

and the crocodiles are weeping.

i don't know why i feel so shocked that this guy is dead. i mean, really. the guy was a total nut!

you, too, can be a collage artist. i used one of my collages to make my collage. aren't i clever. (via presurfer)

here's a little blurb about robbie rist. i am myspace friends with him, and he usually sends out decent bulletins. seems like a pretty cool guy.

arthur lee

r.i.p. :( along with the velvet underground, love is the only band with a "stephanie" song (although i spell my name stefanie, but i won't nitpick). i got my first love album my senior year of high school. so, i've been listening to them for a long time and i'm saddened by this news. he was very ill for a very long time, so at least he not suffering any longer...

what can i say, dear stephanie
who shall i next inform
of love and poetry that you bring
your eyes, your hair, your everything
yeah

p.s. i have decided to get zombies tickets. i know i should be saving money for house stuff, but i just can't stand it that they will be playing and i won't be there!! besides, they are apparently pretty good live. now all i need is to see the grass roots, with creed!!! (creed the guy, not creed the band.)

a few years back when me and my man were "just friends" and not really dating yet, we went to karaoke at some crappy bar with some other people. chris is very reserved, and definitely not one to get up in front of people and make a spectacle of himself, no matter how drunk. i convinced him that we should get up there and do a song together, and he finally relented, but only if he could pick the song. and the tune he chose? "midnight confessions." i was like, "!!!" because i secretely TOTALLY loved him. and i also really love that song. so we did it, and some girl came up to us afterwards and was like, "DUDE!! you guys TOTALLY ROCKED THAT SONG!!!" it was pretty good, actually...so, i think of chris whenever i hear that song, and i start feeling all schmoopy. :)

later on that night, i fell down the hill outside my apartment and lost my glasses. yes, it was quite an eventful evening...

all these years later, still a dirty, dirty, DIRTY song.

about 12 years ago, some guy i knew told me this guy was the anitchrist. i just thought of it the other day, for some reason. i never forgot the guy's name, so i looked him up. hmmmm.

i was just informed of something else.

chris penn is dead. :(

in his honor, i would like to encourage a "reservoir dogs" quote-fest in the comments section. (or "footloose." *shudder, shudder*) i'll start:

"how would you feel, every time you took a piss you had to do a handstand?"

"Football Season Is Over."

that boring piece of drively drek rolling stone is going to publish hunter s. thompson's final written words:

"No More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted. Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun — for anybody. 67. You are getting Greedy. Act your old age. Relax — This won't hurt."
