i heart david cross

i love david cross. i really, really love him. i love mr. show and i love arrested development. those two shows have made me laugh harder than any other shows in the history of shows. since he is now famous enough to inspire an impersonator running around new york and be named in a big lawsuit just for being himself (please go to that guys website and ridicule him in the "fan mail" section), he is clearly famous enough to inspire a post from mondo this morning.

i have always been strangley attracted to david cross. well, i guess it's not all that "strange," but i do think he's cute. i liked his array of sweaters and shorts on mr. show. i enjoy bob, don't get me wrong, but david's got that extra sumpthin'. i think my favorite mr. show skits, if forced to choose just a few, would have to be the pre-taped call-in show (genius! brilliant! and david kinda looks like allen ginsberg in that one), and the "best of" episode with the newscast. "camera two, zoom-a-loo!!!" me and my friend margy quote that thing all the time. "yes, but it's ALL THE WAY...IN MY POCKET." i can't think of any more right now. i need more coffee. i love it all. i love the one where the couple can only have sex with someone watching in the closet and eating freshly-baked pie, or something. i love that tofutti guy. "there are no mistakes, just OPPORTUNITY-STAKES!" i love titannica, of course. again, i love it all.

and i just love tobias. ever so much. he's one of the best tv characters in ages (along with gob and buster). why the hell don't people watch the show?!? oh, that's right, most people are idiots.

i also have a strokes backstage laminate on my rear view mirror from their wyckyd sceptre tour that features david giving the heavy metal sign from that episode. ahhhhhhh. and, as if he couldn't get any cooler, he is in two of my all-time favorite movies: "eternal sunshine" and "ghost world."

yep. me like david. end of story. wait, one more thing, "cockrings, cockrings, cockrings."
