it's on right now!! wow, i haven't seen this in nearly 20 years! yay! i wondered when they would get around to bringing it back, what with that new version they have now (which i don't care aboot). it's so bad that, of course, it's great. i guess i am gonna have to stay up late watching it now; it's apparently going to be on at midnight, monday-thursday. holy crap, i forgot how insane spike's hair was. i'm diggin' her 80's gothy-punk chick duds.
i'm amazed at how i remember all these people (hosers) and how they're competely etched into my brain. i'm so glad it's back, it's ABOOT TIME, AY?

I used to work on Liberty Street, where some of Degrassi was shot, or something like that. This show, and Kids in the Hall seem to be Canada's main contribution to 80's TV shows.
wow, really? did you watch the show? it seemed to be more of a chick show, probably. i love it, it's so totally cheesy, and with horrible music and acting...and of course KITH is waaaaaaaaaaaay better and more important to me.
p.s. flatlander--i hope i didn't offend you with the "aboots" and such. i honestly meant no disrespect. if you'd like, you can retort with something about how we americans are a bunch of fat, lazy, paranoid redneck NASCAR fans who elected a retarded monkey as our president...? :)
No offense taken. Believe me, there are enough hosers in Steeltown to break several sticks, if one were to try to shake a stick at them!
Fact is, Canadians are probably lazier than Americans. Only the winter makes us move around a little, to keep warm. Generally, we're pretty insular (but not, as a rule, isolent).
I like watching the Degrassi reruns when I can, though I didn't pay much attention to it, first time around. Spike was a cool character, and Snake and Joey. I saw the finale recently and it was great! :)
I really don't have an opinion about Americans, except for that Pres. dweeb, to whom I say, "TAKE OFF, EH!"
