Eloquent to the last! Hunter's words make me sad, but I'm glad you got the jump on Rolling Stone in publishing them.
that note made me really sad, too. and i guess it is only fitting that rolling stone" would publish it, as he wrote a lot for them over the years, but i just cannot stand that magazine. ick. i liked it when i was in middle school a whole lot, but then that tells you a bit about their demographic, eh?
anyway, hunter. he lived a pretty long life, full of adventure...67 is not an unreasonable age to say "F this, i'm DONE." especially if he was in declining health. *sigh* i just loved that guy.
