r.i.p. six feet under

so, last night was the season finale...i'd have to say that it wasn't the best episode ever. the last several episodes haven't really lived up to the high standards the show set for itself, but i still cried and cried. i am so sad that it's over. the end of the episode was really, really good. i love that claire lives to be 102, but found it odd that she ends up with that ted guy. i didn't feel that they gave us enough ted in the last few episodes to make us give a crap about him one way or the other. oh well. brenda's demise was great, too.

the only good thing about the show ending is that now, on hbo on demand, they will probably re-run the entire series from the beginning (for those of us that are too cheap to fork up the dough for the DVDs).

so, R.I.P to The Liar and the Whore, that Sappy Little Ferrett Maggie (ewww, i hated her), BattyBilly, Crazy George, Crazy Ruth, Crazy Ma Chenowith, et al. oh, how i dearly loved every crazy last one of them...

p.s. michael c. hall is like the best actor on earth. he was always great, but ever since "that's my dog" i think he just kicked ASS.

p.p.s. you can get the song from ted's deeply un-hip mix here (via stereogum). oh man, now i'm gonna start crying again...
